DIRTY DETAILS:
Dirty Girl Gaiters are primarily used with trail running shoes and low to mid ankle hiking shoes. They are ultralight, weighing less than 2 ounces per pair (size Large is 1.5 ounces) and ride about an inch above the ankle bone.

This four way stretch spandex gaiter attaches to the front lace (or vibram loop) with a hook and to the back of the heel with a Velcro patch and a self-adhesive velcro strip. There is no strap that runs underneath the shoe.

The fabric is very durable, but it will tear if snagged on a sharp object or scraped against a briar or rock. If you knock your ankles together with your stride, you will wear holes in them. They are not waterproof but they are very breathable and dry quickly.

Your order includes enough sticky-back (self-adhesive) velcro (hook side only) for four applications. If you run out, you can find sticky-back velcro at hardware and home improvement stores, office supply stores, sewing/fabric stores, and retail stores like Target and Walmart. It's usually kept with sewing notions or with products like duct tape. Or you can purchase it here for $4 per yard (hook side only).

SIZE MATTERS, YEAH BABY:
Please select your size based on the shoe you will be wearing with your dirty girls. If you have unusually thin or unusually thick ankles, consider adding customization for an extra $2 and include your ankle circumference (approximately one inch above the ankle bone. )


BAREFOOT AND DIRTY:
You can wear them with barefoot or minimalist footwear!

If you plan to wear these with Vibrams or minimalist type shoes, please consider ordering a size down. Dirty Girl Gaiters are sized to be worn with running shoes. Since Barefoot shoes conform more tightly around the feet, a smaller size is usually a better fit. Please also note that you may need customization for your ankle circumference. Please select your shoe size first, then select your ankle circumference. Customization is $2 extra.

DIRTY DEALINGS:
You do not need a Paypal account to make credit card purchases. You can pay with a credit card or Paypal account. You will, however, be directed to Paypal, which processes your credit card transaction.

Paypal will automatically send you an email confirmation for your order. If you do not receive such an email, please check your spam folder.

Paypal will also automatically send you an email with your tracking number when your order ships.

PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to ours using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, our server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher.

PayPal keeps your financial information private. When you pay using PayPal, we never see your credit card or bank account numbers.

GOING POSTAL:
GROUND SHIPPING: (USPS first class�GROUND shipping) is $2 for one pair, $3 for two pairs, and you can expect delivery within a week.

Orders for $60 or more receive FREE GROUND SHIPPING.

PRIORITY MAIL: $6* Flat rate priority mail envelopes will hold up to 8 pairs and you can expect delivery within 2-3 days.

EXPRESS MAIL: $20* USPS guarantees express mail delivery to certain locations within 1-2 days.

Priority and Express Mail orders placed before 12 noon MST Monday thru Friday generally go out the same day . Orders placed on Friday afternoons, Saturday or Sunday will go out by Monday.

Please carefully check your shipping address for typos and missing apartment or suite numbers. Incorrect or incomplete addresses will cause a problem with delivery and may result in your order being sent back to me as undeliverable. Orders received back to me as undeliverable will be processed as a return, minus the original and return shipping charges.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES:

If you are not happy with your dirty girls or have any dirty thoughts about your purchase, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right.

However, if the dirty girls are too SeXy for your comfort level, and cause too much attention, frenzy, or commotion on the trails, we cannot be legally responsible for the consequences. You have been warned.

DIRTY LAUNDRY:
You can prolong the life of the gaiters by using a lingerie bag when you throw them in the washer. Air drying is also recommended. These steps will also keep the hooks from getting caught in the washer or dryer.
